Our client is a leading language learning company with only an online sales presence. Security vulnerabilities and website cart performance made it challenging to scale up the application and prepare it for peak season readiness.

Solution

Lister provided technology consulting and recommended an upgrade to Magento platform to future proof systems for security and better the e-commerce cart performance. We suggested the addition of Progressive Web application (PWA) capabilities for a better mobile experience and introduced a robust deployment pipeline.

Outcomes

Cart/checkout page load time reduced from 4 secs to 2.5 sec, and the web cart was capable of handling peak season traffic of 3500+ orders per hour
